Liberty Christian Wins 19th-Straight Thanks to Gideon Davidson
Liberty Christian picked up their 19th consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Gideon Davidson. Nobody could stop Davidson as he rushed for 96 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last nine games he's played dating back to last season.
Unfortunately for Rustburg, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Davidson. Davidson rushed for 128 yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Red Devils duked it out back in November of 2023.

Max Calloway Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, Glass got the W thanks in part to Max Calloway playing the best football he has all season. Calloway threw for 163 yards and three touchdowns while completing 76.2% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground, good enough to also set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
This year, Calloway has thrown 9 touchdowns while averaging 154.7 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after six games last season, he had one rushing touchdown. This year he is already up to three.

Big Game from Wade As Amherst County Fell 31-24
The second Amherst County player making an appearance here is Devonte Wade, and for good reason. He rushed for 64 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 82 yards and a touchdown.
