In what's become a running theme this season, Richmond Christian gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They blew past Portsmouth Christian 58-35. With Richmond Christian ahead 41-17 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Grove Christian School can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They strolled past Amelia Academy with points to spare, taking the game 54-35. The victory was just what Grove Christian School needed coming off of a 46-24 loss in their prior game.
Grove Christian School's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sidney Fisher, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. It was the first time this season that Fisher scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Emily Hopkins, who scored seven points along with six assists and five rebounds.
Richmond Christian is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. As for Grove Christian School, the win got them back to even at 7-7.
Everything came up roses for Richmond Christian against Grove Christian School in their previous meeting back in January as the team secured a 53-21 win.
