The Hope Blue Wave scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Providence Country Day 59-26 at home. Hope has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 20 points or more this season.
Leading Hope to victory were Sa-moni McKay and Jorday Johnson. McKay scored 17 points, while Johnson scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ja`ray Washington, who scored nine points.
Hope is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Providence Country Day, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-10.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Central the next time they take the court. Hope will head out to face Central at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Providence Country Day will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
