When it comes to explaining why Rocky Bayou Christian lost on Thursday, one person who can't be blamed is Devin Hicks. Despite the final result, he scored 23 points along with five steals. The game was Hicks' 11th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Carver Knapp, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds.
Elberta's win bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Rocky Bayou Christian, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
