Talon Langford's Big Game Leads Tonganoxie over Bonner Springs
Starting off the list is Tonganoxie's Talon Langford, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Langford threw for 182 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 passes, and also rushed for 76 yards on only eight carries.
The victory (which was Tonganoxie's third in a row) raised their record to 3-2. Langford's next contest is against Basehor-Linwood on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.

On Friday, Spring Hill had to settle for second even though Jordan Miller put up the best numbers he has all season. Miller threw for 155 yards and two touchdowns.
The loss snapped Spring Hill's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-1 record. Miller and Spring Hill will be playing at home against Paola at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Todd Brown Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Todd Brown put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in October of 2023 on Friday. He picked up 146 receiving yards. The performance once again pushed his average receiving yardage north of 100 yards per game (102.5). He showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 52 yards.

Patrick Stumpff Makes It Two for Spring Hill
The second Spring Hill player making an appearance here is Patrick Stumpff, and for good reason. He rushed for 82 yards and a touchdown.
For the year, Stumpff has run in 8 touchdowns while averaging 165.8 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 38 rushing yards per game.

A Constellation of Stars for Tonganoxie
Another Tonganoxie player making an appearance on this list is Tanner Hand. He rushed for 83 yards on only 11 carries.
Bonner Springs's probably not too fond of Hand given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Hand saw the Braves), he rushed for 64 yards and two touchdowns.
