Evans waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 65-54 win over the Augusta Prep Cavaliers.

Despite the loss, Augusta Prep saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jayden Jackson posted 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Scott Williams, who had ten points.

Evans' victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Augusta Prep, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Evans has already played their next matchup, a 61-55 win against Grovetown on the 5th. As for Augusta Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 66-42 victory against Gatewood on the 2nd.
