Volleyball Recap: Rancho Wins Going Away Against Clark

Rancho lost to Clark back in October of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Rams put the hurt on the Chargers with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rams.

Rancho not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Clark between 16 and 18 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-16, 25-18.

Rancho's offense was headlined by Presley Zachary and Kayla Sims, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Layla Driscoll and her 20 assists.

Rancho's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Clark, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Looking ahead, Rancho will be playing in front of their home fans against Eldorado at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Clark, they are taking a road trip to square off against Bonanza at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
