Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Francis). They put the hurt on the North Polars with a sharp 15-1 victory on Monday. The Fighting Saints have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Polars, too.

Cooper Fiskewold made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run. That's the most doubles he has posted since back in April.

In other batting news, St. Francis got a massive performance out of Tanner Rothbauer, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI Rothbauer has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Rose, who went 2-for-3 with three runs and two RBI.

St. Francis always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .568. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

St. Francis is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.6 runs over those games. As for North, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-19.

St. Francis has already played their next game (against Chisago Lakes Area), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. North does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
