Windsor Locks walked away with a 75-67 win over Granby Memorial on Monday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Leading Windsor Locks to victory were Kyle Hinckley and Sincere Monroe. Hinckley scored 23 points along with five rebounds, while Monroe scored 24 points along with six rebounds and five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hinckley has scored all season. Clayton Shufelt was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Windsor Locks' victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-1. As for Granby Memorial, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Windsor Locks will head out on the road to take on Rockville at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Granby Memorial, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Farmington at 6:45 p.m.
