The Hardin-Central Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 53-23 defeat at the hands of Polo. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Hardin-Central has scored all season.
Libby Fifer and Ester Kincaid certainly did their best on Tuesday to try and avoid the loss. Fifer scored ten points, while Kincaid scored no points.
Hardin-Central's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Polo, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1.
Hardin-Central will be home for the holidays to greet Braymer at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Braymer and Hardin-Central are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Polo, they will head out on the road to face off against Schuyler County at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. Schuyler County will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
