There's no place like home for the Charlo Vikings, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Thursday. They walked away with a 66-54 victory over Two Eagle River on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Charlo also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
Despite the loss, Two Eagle River still got an impressive performance from Jabez Madplume, who scored 21 points. Thomas Addison was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Charlo has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Two Eagle River, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Charlo won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the at 7:30 p.m. on January 27th. One thing working in Arlee's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for Two Eagle River, they will head out on the road to take on the Savage Heat at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hot Springs is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
