Willits got themselves on the board against Upper Lake on Friday, but Upper Lake never followed suit. They blew past the Cougars, posting a 54-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Wolverines, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Willits was led to victory by Corey Rockey and Ricky Britton. Rockey threw for 251 yards and three touchdowns while completing 78.9% of his passes, while Britton gained 187 total yards and two touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave Rockey a new career-high in passer rating (159.5). 88 of Rockey's passing yards were hauled in by Ryan Carter, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Willits didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Carter, Rickey Ramirez, and Donny Alexander picked up one apiece. Another thorn in Upper Lake's side was Jayden Schlegel, who picked up 0.5 sacks, forced one fumble, and made eight total tackles (4.0 for loss).

Willits' record is now 2-0. As for Upper Lake, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Willits will host Healdsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Upper Lake, they are taking a road trip to take on Middletown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
