The Wahoo Warriors had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They secured a 12-7 W over Broken Bow on Friday. Wahoo's victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Wahoo was led to victory by Joshua Edmonds and Jase Kaminski. Edmonds picked up 82 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while Kaminski threw for 139 yards and two touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes. Edmonds was no stranger to the big play, connecting with a big catch that went for 68 yards.
Despite the loss, Broken Bow still got an impressive performance from Brice Chaplin, who rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown.
Wahoo's victory bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Broken Bow, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-4 record this season.
Wahoo will be playing in front of their home fans against Sidney at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Sidney is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games. Broken Bow does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
