After losing to the Dawson Bulldogs the last time they met, the Valley Mills Eagles decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Valley Mills walked away with a 58-51 victory over Dawson on Saturday.
When it comes to explaining why Dawson lost, one person who can't be blamed is Elijah Allen. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 36 points and 10 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Brant Boatright, who scored 8 points.
Valley Mills has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. As for Dawson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.
Valley Mills will take on McGregor at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Dawson will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Buffalo at 8:00 a.m. on December 7th. Buffalo is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
