The Saginaw Rough Riders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 75-21 loss at the hands of Brewer. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Saginaw in their matchups with Brewer: they've now lost five in a row.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Saginaw struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only an offensive rebound. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Saginaw has been struggling recently, as they've lost nine of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-18 record this season. As for Brewer, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 26-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Saginaw will play host again and welcome Azle, where tip off is scheduled for 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brewer, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Aledo at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Aledo is looking to tack on another W to their seven-game streak on the road.
