Christ Prep Academy had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 69-21 win over Ozanam. With Christ Prep Academy ahead 35-8 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Meanwhile, Faith Christian Academy had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.3 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They breezed by Cornerstone Family at home to the tune of 71-40. Considering Faith Christian Academy has won five contests by more than 28 points this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Faith Christian Academy's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Max McMillen, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 assists, and John Schleeter, who scored 22 points along with 8 rebounds and 6 steals. Schleeter is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Akins, who scored 13 points along with 6 rebounds.
Christ Prep Academy's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Faith Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.
