The Twin Falls Christian Academy Warriors had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 30-17 victory over Camas County. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Twin Falls Christian Academy also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Twin Falls Christian Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Madison Miller, who scored 14 points along with 8 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kara Walker, who scored 11 points.
Twin Falls Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Camas County, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Twin Falls Christian Academy will square off against Murtaugh at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Camas County, they will head out on the road to face off against Castleford at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Castleford comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
