Johnson City had to suffer through a rough 49-6 loss at the hands of Maine-Endwell. Johnson City was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-6.
Peyton Brzozowy threw for 96 yards and a touchdown. Tameem Abdul 'qahhar was his top target, picking up 61 receiving yards and a touchdown. On the ground, Felix Morales rushed for 70 yards.
Johnson City's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Maine-Endwell, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.
Johnson City will be playing at home against Windsor Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Windsor Central is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for Maine-Endwell, they will square off against Norwich at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Norwich is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
