Mobile Christian got a massive performance out of Riley Dunnam, who scored two runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. What's more, Dunnam posted two hits, the most she's had since back in February. Hailey Padgett also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Ponchatoula not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 3rd. Everything went their way against Covington as Ponchatoula made off with a 17-6 win. Considering the Green Wave have won six contests by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.3 strikeouts per game. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 4-for-6 with four RBI and two doubles.

Ponchatoula now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Mobile Christian, they now have a winning record of 9-8-1.
Friday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Mobile Christian has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .451. However, it's not like Ponchatoula struggles in that department as they've averaged .459. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
