The Wekiva Mustangs will stay at home for another  game and welcome the Freedom Patriots at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
 On Wednesday,  everything went Wekiva's way against Liberty as Wekiva made off with  a  17-3 win.
  J?adore Thompson made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out six batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned  (and two unearned) runs off   five  hits (and only one walk). Thompson was also big at the plate,  scoring three  runs while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Yamilia Delgado, who  went 2-for-3 with three  RBI, a  triple,  and a  run.  Senaia Asanya was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Freedom made easy work of Lake Buena Vista  on Wednesday and carried off  a  14-4 victory. The  win was just what Freedom needed coming off of  a  17-4 loss in their prior  game.
 Like Wekiva, Freedom also got a great game from a two-way player:  Allison Smith. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out eight over six innings pitched. Smith was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4.
 In other batting news, Freedom got a  massive  performance out of  Nicole Haar, who  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-5. Another player making a difference was  Vanessa Nawracaj, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 Wekiva has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record  this season. As for Freedom, their victory  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 3-7.
