Make it 22 blowout wins for the Sacred Heart Indians this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Summit Christian Academy 111-31 on the road. The victory was nothing new for Sacred Heart as they're now sitting on four straight.
Leading Sacred Heart to victory were Andrew Steffek and Nic Angerstein. Steffek dropped a double-double on 32 points and 16 rebounds, while Angerstein dropped a double-double on 27 points and 12 steals. Angerstein is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 16 every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Hudson Kutac, who scored 16 points along with four steals.
Sacred Heart's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 24-5. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 96.2 points per game. As for Summit Christian Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-11.
Sacred Heart will take on the Warriors at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Cornerstone Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 last Saturday. As for Summit Christian Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th. Concordia is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.
