The Telluride Miners scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They took down Ridgway 56-42. Winning may never get old, but Telluride sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Leading Telluride to victory were Grayson Berry and Townes Merritt. Berry scored 21 points, while Merritt scored 22 points. The match was Berry's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Will Metheny was another key contributor, scoring five points.
Telluride's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-3. As for Ridgway, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Dolores the next time they take the court. Telluride will head out to face Dolores at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while Ridgway will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
