Southern Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 27-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Valiant Cross Academy Warriors.

Cason Sexton rushed for 157 yards and two touchdowns.
Jordan Archie continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Valiant Cross Academy, throwing for 370 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 16.1 yards per attempt. Deshawn Hall was Archie's top target, picking up 152 receiving yards.
Southern Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Valiant Cross Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.
