After a string of three wins, Crockett County's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lawrence County Wildcats. The Cavaliers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

Crockett County's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Lawrence County, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Crockett County will head out on the road to challenge South Gibson at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lawrence County, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Brighton on the 23rd.
