After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Spotswood, the South River Rams were happy to have found some success on Wednesday. They took down Kennedy Memorial 62-48. That's another feather in the cap for South River, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Alex Grospe continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 26 points along with eight assists and six rebounds. Cole Teresky was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
South River now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Kennedy Memorial, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South River will challenge the Ramblers at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kennedy Memorial, they will head out on the road to face off against the Chargers at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Spotswood presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Mustangs in New Jersey (the Chargers are ranked 163rd, while the Mustangs are ranked 399th).
