Zane Trace came out on top against Adena on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run third inning. The Pioneers were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Warriors. Considering the Pioneers have won 12 games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Zane Trace has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.4 runs over those games. As for Adena, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Zane Trace will head out to take on Minford at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pioneers are facing the Falcons at the right time seeing as the Falcons are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Adena, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Trimble at 5:15 p.m. The Tomcats' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Warriors' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
