The Velma Jackson Falcons can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 72-16 win over French Camp Academy. Winning may never get old, but Velma Jackson sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Leading Velma Jackson to victory were Cameron Tate and J'Ashton Williams. Tate scored 17 points along with three steals, while Williams almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine assists. It was the first time this season that Williams posted eight or more assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Cornell Bacon, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Velma Jackson has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-13 record this season. As for French Camp Academy, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-19.
Velma Jackson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. French Camp Academy also has no future games currently scheduled.
