On Friday, Young Kids In Motion had to suffer through a rough 94-38 loss at the hands of Temple Christian Academy. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Young Kids In Motion has scored all season.
Temple Christian Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Troy Jenkins out in front who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 15 rebounds. The game was Jenkins' ninth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of YaShaun Pierre, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds.
Young Kids In Motion's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-3. As for Temple Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Young Kids In Motion will take on Zarephath Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Zarephath Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Temple Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Christ's Church Academy at 7:15 p.m. Hopefully Christ's Church Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 last Friday.
