After flying high against the West 50th Street Seahawks last Wednesday, the Bergtraum Blazers came back down to earth. Bergtraum took a hard 61-44 fall against Conwell-Egan Catholic on Saturday.
Lily Milewski was the offensive standout of the game as she scored 22 points along with 7 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooke Mcfadden, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Bergtraum's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Conwell-Egan Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Bergtraum will be playing in front of their home fans against Environmental at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Conwell-Egan Catholic, they will square off against Half Hollow Hills East at 9:15 a.m. on Sunday.
