While it was all tied up 19-19 at halftime, the Arapahoe Warriors were not quite the Lawrence-Nelson Raiders's equal in the second half on Saturday. Arapahoe was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 39-38 to Lawrence-Nelson. That's two games in a row now that Arapahoe has lost by exactly a single point.
Arapahoe's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kade Fisher, who scored 10 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals. Fisher scored a full 26.3% of Arapahoe's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Carl Nordine, who scored 8 points.
This is the second loss in a row for Arapahoe and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Lawrence-Nelson, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Arapahoe will square off against Medicine Valley at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lawrence-Nelson, they will head out on the road to face off against Franklin on Friday.
