The Jackson Timberwolves scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took down Mariner 89-70. Given Jackson's advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 73rd, while the Marauders are ranked 310th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Jackson got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ryan Mcferran out in front who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 17 rebounds. Mcferran has been hot recently, having posted ten or more rebounds the last eight times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Trey Hawkins, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten assists.
The win makes it two in a row for Jackson and bumps their season record up to 13-7. As for Mariner, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-15-1.
Jackson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Mariner also has no future games currently scheduled.
