Rosemead is on a four-game streak of home losses, Gabrielino an eight-game streak of away losses (dating back to last season), but someone's luck is about to change. The Rosemead Panthers will take on the Gabrielino Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
While it was all tied up 21-21 at halftime, Rosemead was not quite El Monte's equal in the second half on Friday. The matchup between both teams wasn't particularly close, with Rosemead falling 42-28.
Meanwhile, Gabrielino was beaten by South El Monte 35-7 on Friday. Gabrielino was already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.
Rosemead's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Gabrielino, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.
Rosemead couldn't quite finish off Gabrielino when the teams last played back in October of 2022 and fell 10-7. Will Rosemead have more luck at home instead of on the road?
