Brimfield entered their tilt with West Prairie on Saturday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Cyclones 13-3. Considering the Indians have won 12 matches by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Kaeden Schatsiek was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and four runs. Those six RBI gave him a new career-high. Brady Johnson was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Brimfield's win bumped their record up to 17-4-1. As for West Prairie, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-11.

Coming up, Brimfield will be playing at home against Farmington at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Indians 3.6, the Farmers 3.5) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for West Prairie, they will head out to take on Bushnell-Prairie City at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. The Cyclones are facing the Spartans at the right time seeing as the Spartans are stuck on a 22-game losing streak.
