Carson (China Grove, N.C.) kept up a steady attack all game long to beat
Cox Mill (Concord, N.C.), 49-21, on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run in the first quarter, the Cougars led 27-15 at the half.
Carson grew its lead to 26 points entering the fourth quarter. CHS scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by
Darren Isom.
The loss comes after Cox Mill defeated West Rowan 34-29 last week.
