Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Benet Academy walked away with it. They came out on top against the Downers Grove North Trojans by a score of 44-32 on Friday. The 44-point effort marked the Redwings' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Benet Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-5 record this season. Downers Grove North moved to 26-9 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Coming up, Benet Academy will challenge Quincy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Quincy comes in on four and Benet Academy on nine. Downers Grove North does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
