Jackson Briggs spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on five hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Brunswick is undefeated when he allows at most two earned runs, but 4-6 otherwise.
At the plate, Ian Kuhn was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Landon Jack also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
Meanwhile, Walsh Jesuit never let their opponents score on Thursday. They skirted past Padua Franciscan 1-0. Those one runs were actually the fewest the Warriors have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.
The team relied heavily on Shawn Sullivan, who went 1-for-2 with one home run.
