The Lake View Chiefs were the 54-52 winner over the Snyder Tigers when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Lake View took a 39-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of Snyder. Lake View has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Chiefs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Braylon White, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds. Joseph Delgado was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Lake View struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only an offensive rebound. They are 2-5 when they can't control their own glass like that.
Lake View has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-23 record this season. As for Snyder, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-21.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lake View will take on Sweetwater at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sweetwater knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matches -- so hopefully Lake View likes a good challenge. As for Snyder, they will head out on the road to square off against Levelland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Levelland has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 269 points over their last four matches.
