The North Crowley Panthers put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their undefeated season alive. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 44-3 victory over Bell. Fans of North Crowley have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
Ashton Searl continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 160 yards and four touchdowns. Chris Jimerson and his 80 yards on the ground were also a key factor in North Crowley's win.
North Crowley's win was their fifth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 8-0. It's not like the team was facing easy opposition over that stretch either, as it included 12-1 North Crowley and 7-1 Lovejoy (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 61% over those games). As for Bell, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-3 record this season.
North Crowley will be playing at home against Chisholm Trail at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Chisholm Trail has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since August 25th. As for Bell, they will head out on the road to face off against Paschal at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
