The CSTHEA P Patriots pushed their score all the way to 63 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 74-63 to Bluegrass. It was the first time this season that CSTHEA P let down their fans at home.
Several Patriots players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ryan Swanson, who scored 12 points along with nine rebounds and four blocks. The matchup was Swanson's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Deschaine, who scored 17 points.
CSTHEA P's loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-6. As for Bluegrass, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.
CSTHEA P will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Chattanooga Central at 7:30 p.m. Bluegrass will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Todd County Central at 12:45 p.m. on December 21st.
