Owen Atwood was a standout: he scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Zane Atwood, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
Trinity Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .643. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Halls only posted an OBP of .333.
Trinity Christian Academy's win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-7. As for University School of Jackson, their record is now 2-5.
Trinity Christian Academy's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Monday. University School of Jackson has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.7 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Trinity Christian Academy, though, as they've been averaging only 4 strikeouts.
