The Butler Lynx scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They claimed a resounding 102-12 win over Chicago Washington on the road. Butler has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 26 points or more this season.
Butler's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Xyanna Walton, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 14 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Walton has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Xamiya Walton, who scored 22 points along with eight assists and five rebounds.
The win (which was Butler's sixth in a row) raised their record to 21-10. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.3 points per game. As for Chicago Washington, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-12.
Butler's road trip will continue as they head out to face Tinley Park at 7:00 p.m. on February 15th. Butler is facing Tinley Park at the right time seeing as Tinley Park is stuck on a six-game losing streak. Chicago Washington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
