On Friday, Cuero came up short against Marion and fell 54-44.
Richard Rayos continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Marion, scoring 25 points. The game was Rayos' fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Travis Randle, who scored 8 points along with 6 rebounds.
Cuero's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Marion, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.
Cuero's road trip will continue as they head out to face New Braunfels Christian Academy at 3:00 p.m. on December 2nd. As for Marion, they will square off against Wimberley at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Wimberley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Friday.
