After flying high against King last Tuesday, Thornton Fractional North came back down to earth. The matchup between the Thornton Fractional North Meteors and the Hammond Morton Governors didn't end well, with the Thornton Fractional North Meteors falling 89-75. One positive for the Meteors, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Hammond Morton's win on Saturday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kylah KP Patterson, who dropped a double-double on 30 points and 25 boards. Patterson's afternoon made it seven games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Chanteze Holland was another key player, putting up 34 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.

Thornton Fractional North's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-4. As for Hammond Morton, they pushed their record up to 10-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home.

Thornton Fractional North and Dutchtown will round out the year against one another at at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hammond Morton, they will challenge South Bend Riley at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
