Meanwhile, Grantsville had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.7 points), and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. They breezed by Ogden on the road to the tune of 64-21. Grantsville has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 25 points or more this season.
Grantsville got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Baylee Lowder out in front who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. Lowder has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last nine times she's played. Kodee Williams was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with nine steals and five assists.
Union's win bumped their record up to 4-13. As for Grantsville, their win bumped their record up to 15-2.
Union was dealt a bruising 74-30 defeat at the hands of Grantsville when the teams last played on January 9th. The match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Union was down 47-13.
