Bosco got an equalizer late in the third quarter and 5-foot-8 sophomore
Maliq Blackwell-Allen scored the game winner on a 71-yard run off a toss sweep.
On the first play after a Chaminade-Madonna punt with under five minutes to play,
the speedster took the pitch, got the edge and outraced the defense to put Bosco up 34-27.

Blackwell-Allen's score gave the game its seventh lead change. As exciting as that was in a highly-anticipated battle of national powers, the flow of the contest was hampered by more than 30 penalties.
Chaminade-Madonna sputtered early in the game before finding its footing using an up-tempo approach behind quarterback
Tyler Chance. The Lions scored first-half touchdowns on drives of 1:09 and 2:34
before adding a four-play drive that used less than two minutes to open
the second half to retake the lead 24-20.
The Lions looked poised to tie or win the game outright late but
Isala Wily-Ava intercepted a deep ball from Chance moments after he was flagged for a personal foul.
The reigning Florida 1M champion got one more chance in the final minute but Bosco forced four incompletions to end the game.
Both quarterbacks shined in their debuts.
Matai Fuiava threw two touchdowns and ran for another in his first start for Bosco. Chance, who was supposed to split time with Zachary Katz but played all but one series, threw for scores to Penn State commit
Koby Howard, three-star
Jasen Lopez and Auburn commit
Denairius Gray.
