Pescadero relied on the efforts of Quince Markegard, who had five aces, and Perla Hernandez, who had six digs and three aces. What's more, Markegard posted two digs, the most she's had over her last two matchups.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for The Kehillah School, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They had just enough and edged out San Francisco Christian 3-2. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was The Kehillah School who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 23-25, 25-16, 15-25, 15-11.
The Kehillah School now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Pescadero, their record is now 12-3.
Everything went Pescadero's way against The Kehillah School in their previous matchup on September 11th, as Pescadero made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
