Meanwhile, Wilson Central came into Monday's matchup having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They put the hurt on Smyrna with a sharp 63-37 victory on Monday.
Smyrna has not been sharp recently as the team's lost 14 of their last 16 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season. As for Wilson Central, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-13.
