Barr-Reeve is 10-0 against Shoals since January of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Barr-Reeve Vikings will be playing at home against the Shoals Jug Rox at 7:30 p.m. Barr-Reeve will be looking to extend their current 12-game winning streak.
Last Saturday, Barr-Reeve beat North Daviess 39-26.
Barr-Reeve's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Evan Wehmeier, who scored 11 points along with two steals and two blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Seth Wagler, who scored nine points along with five steals.
Shoals suffered their closest loss yet this season on Saturday. They fell just short of Wood Memorial by a score of 38-36.
Barr-Reeve pushed their record up to 13-1 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.1 points per game. As for Shoals, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-8.
Barr-Reeve took their win against Shoals in their previous matchup back in January of 2023 by a conclusive 54-30. Will Barr-Reeve repeat their success, or does Shoals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
