After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Duchesne, Altamont was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Water Canyon Wildcats an 18-0 shutout. Considering the Longhorns have won nine matchups by more than ten runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Altamont got a massive performance out of Hadley Mecham 3, who went 2-for-3 with two triples, two runs, and one stolen base. Those two triples gave Mecham 3 a new career-high. Ollie Farr also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
