Basketball Recap: Southwest Minnesota Christian Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

Southwest Minnesota Christian won against Mountain Lake/Comfrey/Mountain Lake Christian on Thursday with 93 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. The Southwest Minnesota Christian Eagles beat Mountain Lake/Comfrey by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 93-39. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 24 points or more this season.

Southwest Minnesota Christian is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 83.0 points over those games. As for Mountain Lake/Comfrey, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-18.

Coming up, Southwest Minnesota Christian will head out to face off against Hills-Beaver Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hills-Beaver Creek knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Southwest Minnesota Christian likes a good challenge. As for Mountain Lake/Comfrey, they will take on Sleepy Eye at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
